We've been seeing stories about huge salaries of CEOs - and even a Church pastor allegedly - in the news lately. Here's another published in The Straits Times on 31 March 2009:

OCBC CEO paid over $3.75m
By Gabriel Chen

OCBC Bank's chief executive David Conner earned between $3.75 million and $3.99 million last year, the bank's annual report revealed on Tuesday.

This range is slightly over a third lower than the pay of between $6 million and $6.25 million he took home in 2007.

About 31.1 per cent of Mr Conner's remuneration last year was in salary and fees, 22.5 per cent in bonuses, and 45.3 per cent in deferred shares.
